Who We Are
We are Princeton Electric Speedboating (PES), a team of 44 undergraduate and graduate engineers at Princeton who build and race electric boats at competitions worldwide. At competition, we aim to advance sustainability in the marine industry through the success of our boats. Our projects give Princeton students valuable hands-on experience and familiarity with cutting edge technology, exciting our community about sustainable transportation and energy.
Meet the Team
Our Team is comprised of undergraduate students of all years as well as graduate students, with many different backgrounds and majors including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research & Financial Engineering, Economics, and Physics. Our Team is divided into Boat Crews for each of our boats, as well as a Marketing & Finance Team that works on all things business.
